We take several precautions to ensure your safety as our patient. First, we keep up-to-date on the latest sterilization procedures and research. Our office complies with and exceeds OSHA standards for safety. We also have incorporated many of the relevant recommendations from the new 2003 CDC Guidelines for Dentistry. Most importantly, we have a sterilization center where we can maximize efficient sterilization and minimize the chance of contamination through human error.

For your safety and peace of mind our sterilizers are tested professionally bi monthly to ensure proper function . Whenever possible we use single use disposable items that minimize the chance of cross contamination. We also use CDC recommended surface disinfectants and utilize ultrasonic cleaners to remove any bioburden from instruments prior to sterilization. Our clinical staff receives regular training and infection control updates from current literature and our doctors to ensure a sanitary environment.
