What Implants Look Like

Curious about what makes All-on-4 so innovative?

All-on-4 Implants vs Traditional Implants

Two of the implants are placed at a 45-degree angle. This provides a stable base by maximizing available bone tissue.

What specific concerns is the All-on-4 technique designed to address?

All-on-4 dental implants sound like a great solution...

You Have Adequate Bone

It is necessary to have adequate bone to properly stabilize the implants. If you have failing teeth and gums, it is important to seek help in a timely manner to avoid more bone loss.

You Have Failing Teeth and Other Issues

If you have failing or lost teeth that are affecting your ability to chew and speak properly, implant-supported restorations are definitely worth considering. Likewise, if you are tired of issues related to traditional dentures (unpleasant odor, an unstable bite), implants may be the solution for you.

Your Teeth Cannot Be Saved

Our dentists will always try to save damaged teeth. We offer a full range of treatment at our Plano office and offer alternatives, such as implant-supported bridges, for patients who do not suffer from complete tooth loss on the upper or lower arch.

You Are Generally Healthy

Patients must be free of health conditions that would make surgery too risky. In addition, we will first need to address any underlying oral health concerns, such as periodontal disease.

Imagecare Dental Implant Center offers a free consultation at our Plano office to determine if you are a candidate for the All-on-4® technique. You and your dentist will discuss your options and create a treatment plan specifically for you. Come in for a consultation. It’s the best way to determine if implants are right for you!!

Isn't All-on-4 More Expensive than Other Options?

Not necessarily

Because the All-on-4 treatment concept only uses four implant posts rather than one per tooth, it is generally less expensive than traditional implant dentistry techniques. It can also often eliminate the need for bone grafting, a preparatory procedure that raises treatment cost.

Is It Highly Recommended?

Most patients consider treatment a sound investment since it is a more comfortable and secure than a traditional denture

*According to the Journal of Oral Implantology.

Here is what you can expect from start to finish...

During your consultation at our Plano practice, our doctors will evaluate the condition of your smile, review your medical history, and determine if you are a good candidate for All-on-4.

We use digitally guided implant placement to determine the optimal position for the implants. This ensures successful, predictable outcomes.

On the day of surgery, one of our doctors will create four incisions in your gums and place the implants in your jawbone. To ensure your comfort, we have various methods of sedation available.

Many patients can go home with a temporary set of teeth on the same day as their surgery. You can return to normal activities as soon as the next day.

Over the next four to six months, the implants will fuse with the surrounding bone tissue in a process known as osseointegration. This step is vital to the success of your implants.

Permanent Restoration

Once you finish healing, you will come back to Imagecare Dental in Plano so that we can take impressions for your permanent set of teeth. Unlike a traditional denture, this restoration will stay securely in place.

All-on-4® Dental Implants: A Safe Proven Way To Regain Your Smile And Look Your Best Again!

Considering traditional dentures?

Considering standard dental implants?

You are not alone, millions of people in our country are missing all of their upper and lower teeth or are facing the loss of their remaining teeth.  Instead of going to an old fashioned uncomfortable denture that ‘s hard to eat with, many people are choosing a technique called All-on-4® or all teeth in each arch supported by four implants.

With All-on-4® dental implants and techniques at our Plano practice, you can replace all your teeth with four secure implants!

Documented with 15 years of clinical success, the All-on-4® treatment provides a reliable solution to replacing missing teeth.  There have been dozens of reliable clinical studies documenting the safety and high success rates of the All-on-4® system.

All-on-4®: All upper or lower teeth are attached to four dental implants

Dental implants are biocompatible titanium rods that look similar to screws.  The implants are placed during a minor surgical procedure or in conjunction with the removal of your remaining teeth.

All-on-4® technique often reduces or eliminates the need for bone grafting making the treatment timeline quicker and more efficient.

Once placed the dental implants need to fuse to the bone.  This fusion gives us the ability to attach an entire set of teeth to just four implants.  The benefits of All-on-4® are amazing, other techniques require many more implants which increases the cost, complexity and time required to get new teeth.  Receiving a new set of teeth that are stable, comfortable and look great is truly a life changing event for so many patients

Can You Get A Great New Smile in One Visit?

Yes, we can place a set of temporary teeth the same day your dental implants are placed.  This is usually very important to people with teeth remaining so they won’t have to go without teeth during the healing period of the implants. Individuals with existing dentures can just wear their dentures during the healing period if they choose or have new temporary teeth made.
