Well, sort of. Many implant centers advertise teeth in a day but the reality is that it takes several appointments to get the new teeth. Most of the time teeth in a day is referring to the All-on-4® technique. While you can receive your new teeth at the same day we place the dental implants and remove your existing teeth, it usually takes several appointments prior to receiving your ‘Teeth in Just One Day’.
Teeth in a day can also refer to removing a single tooth, placing a dental implant, final abutment and temporary crown all in the same day so you won’t have to go without teeth. But it does take several appointments prior to receiving your ‘tooth in a day’.
Below are the appointments needed for the typical All-on-4® and ‘tooth in a day’ single tooth replacement.
Schedule a Free Consultation
At your consultation you will be seen by a doctor to evaluate and create a custom treatment plan that is right for you. We will go over cost, timing and answer all of your questions.
Once you have decided to get started with your dental implants, we will have you come in for your CT scan, impressions, photographs and measurements. We will finalize your treatment plan and cover everything you need to know to get ready for your procedure!
Dental Implant Placement
This is the big appointment to place your dental implants and go home with a temporary set of teeth that will be stable in your mouth, look nice and function appropriately.
Implant Post-Procedure Checks
These checks are designed to evaluate your progress, check healing while the implants are fusing. We will also check function and fit of your temporary teeth. There will usually be several of these checks.
Receive Your Final New Teeth
This is the last step. After the integrating (fusing) period of healing we will replace the temporary teeth with your final new teeth.
