5-Star Reviews "I Have Perfectly Straight Teeth"
I've been a patient here for a few years. Before meeting Dr Thompson I was told I wasn't a candidate for Invisalign. Now, thanks to him I have perfectly straight teeth. The office is very clean and you can tell they pay attention to providing a sanitary environment (I admit, I'm a germ o phobe). Even the office staff is fantastic- especially Jennifer.
I went to Imagecare and Dr Thompson because I was interested in Invisalign invisible braces. The experience was top-notch! I would highly recommend him and the Invisialign braces!
But does it really work?

More 5-Star Reviews "I Absolutely Love ImageCare!"
Excellent Service!
Great Dentist group and wonderful staff. They tell you the pricing up front and what will be covered under insurance and what won't. I have never had an issue in the last 5 years.
Highly recommend.
I absolutely love ImageCare! Both myself and son are patients there. The staff is friendly and helpful. I have been pleased with the level of care received from Dr Imperial and the entire staff. Thank you guys for being so amazing.
What Is Invisalign Express?
There are two forms of Invisalign treatment: Express and Regular. Express simply means your case is less intensive and will only need 10 aligners or less (and less time overall) to make the necessary corrections.
The express method is ideal for patients who only have minor misalignment. Using this approach, plastic aligners can shift your teeth into optimal position in six months or less. Our experienced dentists are experts at determining which treatment method is best for each patient, and they will let you know during your consultation if Express is a viable option for you.
Also, because the cost of Invisalign is directly correlated to the amount of aligners required in the treatment plan, express treatment will cost less than regular treatment.
Can we talk more about Invisalign cost?
We Make Invisalign Affordable
Invisalign is a smart investment.
Misaligned teeth can lead to a host of oral health and function issues. Because crooked teeth are harder to clean, tooth decay and infections become more likely. Also, bite misalignment puts unnatural pressure on the jaw muscles, which can lead to painful TMJ disorder. By investing in orthodontics now, you can save yourself pain and thousands of dollars in future dental work.
Invisalign costs the same as traditional braces.
The cost of clear aligners is comparable to that of braces. If you are on the fence between plastic aligners and braces, don't let cost be a difference-maker. Qualifying patients might as well choose the orthodontic option that is more discreet, more comfortable, and more convenient.
Financing can make treatment only $99 a month.
If you have dental insurance, it may cover a portion of your orthodontic treatment. Our office can assist you with filing and ensuring you get the most out of your benefits. To cover any out-of-pocket costs, we can also help you finance your treatment with CareCredit® or LendingClub. By taking advantage of all of our helpful payment options, many patients are able to go through Invisalign treatment at our practice for as little as $99 a month.
We Offer Invisalign Teen
Invisalign Teen is a clear-aligner system designed with teenagers in mind. This system includes special accommodations for teens, including:
- A special blue dot on the back of the aligners which allows our dentists to track if the aligners are being worn enough
- A special design that leaves room for permanent molars to come in
- Up to six free replacement aligners
The teenage years are a great time to go through orthodontic treatment, but self-conscious teens usually aren't excited about unsightly braces. This option allows them to straighten their smiles while staying confident in their appearance.

Do I really need to straighten my teeth?
Why Orthodontic Treatment Is Important
Fact #1: Crooked teeth aren’t just a cosmetic problem
A number of underlying issues can cause crooked teeth. Some of the major ones are:
- Over Crowding
- Wide Spacing
- Crossbite
- Overbite
- Underbite
Left unchecked, these issues can lead to many other health problems that can affect your speech and chewing, as well as increase your chances of periodontal disease (swollen gums and redness) and dental decay. In contrast, straighter teeth can allow the gums to fit more tightly and comfortably, reducing the risk of periodontal disease. Also, when your teeth are not aligned properly, it can put stress on the jawbone and joints, leading to more potential problems down the road.
Fact #2: Crooked teeth aren’t just a physical problem
No one likes to look in the mirror when they know their teeth aren’t straight.
When crooked teeth aren’t corrected, it can affect people’s emotional state – even to the point they can appear unfriendly to others – simply because they become too self-conscious and embarrassed to smile.
If you are an adult, you may have developed ways to try to cope with this discomfort so it doesn’t hold you back in your personal or professional life. For example, when you smile you might not show your teeth and try to cover them with your lips. Or maybe you don’t smile at all.
Any of these tactics can unconsciously send messages to the people around us that suggest:
“I’m not very happy.”
“I’m not fun to be around.”
“I’m reserved and boring.”
Without our knowing it, we can be sabotaging our relationship efforts. This is a huge problem since almost everything we do involves relationships somehow.
Teens may have other, more immature, ways of acting out their self-consciousness which parents and teachers may not recognize.
Fact #3: Traditional braces don’t solve these problems
In fact, they can seemingly make it worse...
Invisalign Aligners vs. Braces
Clear Aligners | Braces | |
Appearance | Plastic aligners are transparent and difficult to detect when worn. Because they can be removed, food should never get stuck in aligners. | Braces are made of bulky, dark metal that makes many patients feel self-conscious about their smiles. Also, food often gets trapped in the brackets, which can be unsightly and cause bad breath. |
Comfort | Invisalign aligners are made from soft plastic that fits snugly over the teeth and does not poke or scratch the soft tissues of the mouth. | Patients with braces often complain that the wires and brackets poke or scratch the cheeks, hurt the tongue, or cause puffy, irritated gums. |
Convenience | Because aligners are removable, you can brush and floss normally and continue to eat all of your favorite foods. | Patients with braces need to adjust their oral hygiene habits to properly brush and floss around the wires and brackets. Also, patients need to avoid crunchy, sticky, and other types of food. |
Effectiveness | Invisalign aligners apply gentle pressure to your teeth to move them into position in an average of 12 to 18 months. | Traditional braces apply pressure to teeth to move them into position in an average of 16 to 24 months. |
